You hold the reins
Your character never acts, speaks, thinks, or decides without you. The Dungeon Master can portray danger, opportunity, and reaction, but it stops when the next meaningful choice belongs to you.
Worlds at Will
An indie RPG in development
A text role-playing game is an interactive story you play by reading, typing, and using a few helpful buttons to formulate your actions. Think of it as creating your own lived in book that grows as you interact and remembers what matters: you create a character, explore an imagined world, and choose what your character tries to do. AI helps the world respond naturally to choices written in your own words, while the game’s rules decide what is possible, what succeeds, and what changes. It is still a game—with challenges, consequences, and progress—not just a conversation with a chatbot.
Worlds at Will isn’t built around a single campaign or setting. It’s an RPG engine designed to support many kinds of stories—from medieval fantasy and zombie survival to superheroes, historical fiction, and beyond. Each world begins with a curated foundation, then grows uniquely through your choices as the AI expands and then the RPG remembers what you create.
Worlds at Will is also being built by me, Tyler, a solo developer. I am making this game 100% first and foremost for my own enjoyment, but you can all join in on the fun if you like. This project isn't being produced by some massive gaming studio purely to make a profit. This is a labor of love being meticulously crafted by one individual with a strong vision. I have played my own version of this game for quite some time in my personal AI chats trying to control it with custom instructions. That grew into me making an excel worksheet to give more control and context to the AI for my own game. Over time this worksheet grew so large and complex I said "Why don't I just make this a game everyone can enjoy?" and so that's what I am doing. Bringing my own fun game I've been enjoying privately to fruition as a full fledged RPG. So come and join me in creating a new genre of gaming.

II
Important facts survive the scene: promises, discoveries, injuries, equipment, setbacks, and victories. Later moments build on established history instead of quietly resetting it.
III
NPCs remember what they know and how you have treated them. Trust, tension, loyalty, and rivalry can grow through repeated encounters—not vanish when a conversation ends.
IV
Currency, health conditions, experience, levels, possessions, and other mechanical facts follow strict rules. The Dungeon Master can dramatize the result, but cannot forget a cost, erase an injury, grant progress because it suits the scene, or narrate a genuine failure into success.
